FAQ
WHERE ARE WE BASED?
INTRO TO BJJ is held in The Loft, our upstairs studio at 25 Rodney Street, EH7 4EL. The entrance is on the roadside, behind the bus stop.
WHEN ARE CLASSES?
Classes are held 18:15 - 19:15 every Tuesday and 12:30 - 13:30 every Thursday.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT TO LEARN?
We have a curriculum of 4 classes that cover a range of techniques from submissions to simply falling down safely.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
INTRO TO BJJ classes cost £15. We also offer 4 Class Pass for £50. All beginners will be asked to complete 4 classes before joining CORE BJJ classes.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND BRING?
You can just wear normal sports clothes ie. shorts or leggings and t-shirt or sweater, but please avoid zipped pockets as they can damage the mats and cause injuries. Our classes are conducted barefoot and in close contact with others, so please ensure your fingernails and toenails are kept clean and fairly short. Please avoid wearing any jewellery and remove any ear and facial piercings where possible. Lastly, bring a water bottle to stay hydrated – you can refill at the studio!
IS THERE PARKING ON SITE?
We have a few parking spaces available, but if it is busy there is the Tesco car park around the corner.
